About Carolina Developmental Pediatrics

At Carolina Developmental Pediatrics, we care for children with developmental and learning differences and their families. We are a small office with a single physician and dedicated staff who take pride in quality, personal care.

Dr. Daniel Moran is a board-certified developmental and behavioral pediatrician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of developmental disorders, behavioral difficulties, and learning differences. He earned an M.D. from University of Miami in 1988 and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the same institution. After a year as the chief resident, he took a faculty position at the University of Miami. Dr. Moran worked in primary care pediatrics in a variety of settings prior to completing a fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at University North Carolina-Chapel Hill. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Moran worked as the director of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center until July of 2004, when he joined the Student Success Center at All Kinds of Minds. In 2006, he returned to UNC as the Fellowship Training Program Director for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.

Dr. Moran has been in private practice and holds a part time clinical faculty appointment at University of North Carolina.
